Recently, the winners of the 10th Provincial Literary and Art Award in Heilongjiang have been announced. Jiangchao, the chief librarian of our university and a young literary critic, whose thesis of theory of literature isHow to Establish the Object of Literary Criticism in the Era of Big Data,won the Young Excellent Works Award.

The Literary and Art Award established with the approval of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government in Heilongjiang is the highest standard of arts and culture in the province government awards,which is appraised and elected every two years. This year Heilongjiang Provincial Literary and Art Awards categories includes 17 categories, such as literature, drama, film, art, calligraphy, photography and Chinese folk art forms. According to the selection of the work plan of the 10th Heilongjiang Provincial Literary and Art Award, 103 pieces of works are selected into this award, and 28 pieces of works are selected into the the Young Excellent Works Award after the four stages of recommendation application, qualification examination, preliminary and joint evaluation , and the final evaluation of the CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department’s ministerial meeting

According to the explanation ofthedocumentsinProvincial Literary and Art Award, the Young Excellent Works Award in the Provincial Literary and Art Awards is equal to the second prize in Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences.
