Our school held 2017 autumn completing ceremony for overseas students from National University of Pyatigorsk of Russia in the conference room of our main teaching building on June 25. Kang Junjie, the vice-director of the Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Department presided over the ceremony.

The completing ceremony began with the video of “I studied in the Suihua University of China”. The video clip recorded overseas students’ life and growth during the period of learning in our school, expressing a sense of reluctance to part from our school, and good wishes to our school.

Gao Wenli, thedean ofSchoolof Literature and Media, read out the names of completing study in Suihua University. Li Chunyu, the vice-president conferred diploma of graduation on overseas students. You Jinghan, the vice-dean ofSchoolof Literature and Media, presented honorary certificates to representatives of outstanding graduates.

Li Beike delivered a speech as a representative of overseas students and shared his experience of studying abroad. He expressed his gratitude to the school, teachers and classmates in fluent Chinese for providing them with a good learning and living environment, so that they could learn Chinese and feel the traditional Chinese culture at the same time. He expressed their best wishes for the prosperity of the school, cultivating graduates everywhere by the School of Literature and Media, the health of the teachers, the prospects of the students, and the everlasting friendship between China and Russia.

Wu Chunsheng, a representative of teachers, reviewed his teaching experience in the past six months as the head teacher of theoverseas students’ class, and fully affirmed the progress made by overseas students in learning Chinese. Meanwhile, he said, “The gate of Suihua University is always open to Russian students, and students are welcome to come again.”

Zhou Quan, the director of the Foreign Exchange and Cooperation Department, congratulated the overseas students on the successful achievements of their studies. He hoped the students could memorize “Social commitment and innovative applications to reality” which is the motto of Suihua University, andcontinue to study Chinese, learn Chinese culture,make full use of the knowledge and skills, and serve as a bridge and messenger of Sino-Russian friendship. Meanwhile, he wished the students a smooth journey home, to make learning progress, to have good health and happy life.

Li Chunyu, vice-president, Song Wenjun, Party Committee Member, Minister of Propaganda and United Front Work, Zhao Dongjiang, the director of Educational Administration Department, Li Wei, the director of security department, some related leaders and teachers fromSchoolof Literature and Media, fromSchool of Music, from School of Art and Design,from Physical Education Department, together with 23 overseas students attended the completing ceremony.
