In order to further improve the working level and technological innovation ability of scientific research and innovation team, the vice president Li Chunyu organized the meeting of the fourth batch of scientific research and innovation team leaders in the morning of July 13th.

The chief of theSectionofProject andAchievementManagement of theScientificResearchDepartment, Zhang Yang, explained and reported in detail from the aspects of team applicationrequirements, team management and assessment, policies and funds for supporting team building, and team building tasks.

In order to improve the overall strength of scientific researchandinnovation team, Li Chunyu put forward three requirements:Firstly, the building of scientific research and innovation teamshould bestrengthened. First of all, the team leaders need to be cutting edge,forward-looking, and avant-garde, to understand the relevant scientific research field in a timely manner, to be sensitive and foreseeable to the academic, and to enhance academic attainments and to play a leading role. In the next place, the scientific research teams need to have the ability to master academic frontiers, improve interdisciplinary research and innovation capabilities, and learn from each other to improve their academic literacy so as to improve the ability of high level scientific research output. Secondly, theplanningof topic selection should bestrengthened. Each team needs tobe able toconnect with the topic selection of provincial and national fund, and work hard to study the high levelplanning topics, and plan the creative topics on the basis of the dominant subject. Thirdly,the periodic and annual team assessment should bestrengthened. Each team needs to strengthen internal assessment and implement dynamic management.

Li Chunyu stressed that the research and innovation team should further strengthen the construction consciousness, management consciousness, innovation consciousness, goal consciousness and progressive consciousness, complete the construction task on time, and implement the five-plan scientific strategy of innovation and entrepreneurship in ouruniversity.

It is reported that ouruniversity’s fourth batch of scientific researchandinnovation team has increased to 18, and the construction period is three years which isfrom July 2018 to June 2020. (Reporter Li Sha)
