The University Officials’ On-site Guidance for the Work on Freshmen’s Registration

On the morning of September 2, Principal Zhang Fengwu, Vice Principals Tian Jun and Sun Qingping, accompanied by the Director of the Office of Students’ Affairs, Bai Jingjun, came to the site of welcoming the freshmen to inspect and guide the relevant work, ensuring an orderly start of the work.

At the gymnasium, Zhang Fengwu and his entourage cordially greeted the teachers andthestudents who worked hard on the front line, listened to the work reports of the heads of all the schools and departments, and learned about the situation of the freshmen’s registration. While fully affirming the welcoming work of all the schools and related departments, Principal Zhang Fengwu and his entourage urged the relevant personnel to do every service carefully.

Later,ZhangFengwu andSunQingping went to the station’s reception, visited the staff and volunteers there, and had a cordial conversation with the freshmen andtheirparents. When learning that a freshman didn’t get off the train and his train had passed Suihua Station and he thus separated from his parents, Zhang Fengwu patiently consoled the parents and informed them about the situation of the nearby station. Meanwhile, he also provided feasible suggestions for the student’s return journey, so as to ensure that he could register at our university as soon as possible. In addition, Sun Qingping also helped to carry luggage and guided the freshmen and their parents to the service point of our university to have a rest.The two principalsurged the volunteers to do their best to provide convenience for the freshmen and their parents. They also entrusted the staff oftheSecurityDepartmentwiththe safety of the freshmen and their parentsall the time,thus finishing a good job in security.

During the period welcoming freshmen, otheruniversity leaders also came to the site to express their condolences toallthe busy staff in various positions.
