Vice President Tian Jun Presided over the First Teaching Meeting of the Autumn and Winter Semester

On the morning of August 29, the first teaching meeting of the 2018-2019 autumn and winter semester was held in the conference room on the fifth floor of theMainTeachingBuilding. Vice-President Tian Jun attended the meeting and delivered a speech. All members from the Academic Affairs Office, the Higher Education Research and Teaching Quality Assessment Center, the directors and the deputy directors of each teaching unit, and the school inspectors attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Tian Jun.

In the meeting,Mr.Zhao Dongjiang, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, deployed the key work of the 2018-2019 autumn and winter semester, and reported the inspection of the teaching order in the new semester.

Mr.Chang Handong, director of the Higher Education Research and Teaching Quality Assessment Center, reported the inconsistency between the individual data of the self-assessment report and the collected information of basic data of the teaching status.

Tian Jun put forward eight requirements for doing a good job in the recent teaching and review and evaluation work. First, it is necessary to improve the revision of the review and evaluation report draft. Second, it is necessary to arrange a whole-course drill for the teachers undertaking teaching tasks of this semester. Check one by one, continuously revise and improve teaching methods to ensure the quality of classroom teaching. Third, clarify the classroom management responsibilities, thoroughly inspect the classroom teaching facilities and teaching conditions, and ensure good classroom environment and teaching facilities. Fourth, all teaching units should make full preparations for the interview and reception of experts. Fifth, we must do a good job in the rectification of pre-evaluation, eliminate errors and dead ends in papers, test papers, and internship materials, and perfect the teaching management files and collation of supporting materials. Sixth, we must strengthen the management of teachers and students to ensure good classroom order, teaching order and campus life order.And finally, we should strengthen the study of teaching documents and review and assessment knowledge, and be well-prepared for in-depth interviews. Eighth, we must improve campus culture construction.
