July 9th is the first day of the final examination of spring and summer semester from 2017 to 2018 in ouruniversity. Tian Jun,thevice president, was accompanied by the director of theDean’sOffice, Zhao Dongjiang, deputy director Bian Xingchao, andother colleaguesto go totheexaminationroom toinspect thefinalexamination.
Tian Jun and his colleagues learned about the examination organization,state ofstudents’ answering questions, examination order, examination environment, invigilators and so on. From the inspection situation, the overall situation of the examination is good. All the departments can strictly organize the examination according to the unified requirements of theuniversity. The invigilators perform their roles andare responsible for the examination. The examinees have the correct attitude, conscientiously abide by the examination disciplines, answer earnestly and the examination room is orderly.
During the process of inspection, Tian Jun fully affirmed the examination organization work of theDean’sOffice and the teaching units. At the same time,he made further emphasis on the final examination work. Firstly, the overall arrangement of the final examination work shouldbefurther strengthened to ensure the smooth progress of the examination work.Secondly,the environment of the examination room and the atmosphere of examination should be strengthened. Efforts should be made to improve the organization and service level of the examination.Thirdly, the management of examination disciplinesshouldbefurther deepened, and the behavior of cheating in the examinationshould beseriously dealt with, and the construction of the school style can be raised to a new levelwith a solid examination style.
At the same time, theSchool ofInformationEngineering, theSchool of ForeignLanguages, the Department ofPhysicalEducation, theSchool ofEducation and theSchool ofLiterature andMedia have also paid great attention to the examination. The members of the leading group of theschools have also inspected the examination work of their own unit.
Final examination is an important part ofuniversity education work, and an important evaluation form of students’ knowledge and skills mastery and ideological and moral cultivation. Before the examination, the university held a special meeting to carry out unified arrangements for all aspects of the final examination to ensure the smooth progress of the examination. The teaching units also held the “three meetings” one week before the examination, and made specific instructions on the examination disciplines, the duty of invigilators and the filling of the examination letter.
