Accompanied by Director Zhao Dongjiang of the Office of Academic Affairs and the leading officials of the departments, Vice Principal Tian Jun visited the laboratories of the departments and conducted on-site working on the morning of June 29.
Tian and his party visited successively quite a lot of laboratories and training centers, and listened carefully to the presentations of the staff and entourage. They visited the University Physical Experiment Center, the Electrical and Electronic Experimental Center, the Electrical and Automatic Control Training Center and the Automotive Service Engineering Laboratory of the Department of Electrical Engineering; the Edible Fungi Research Institute of the College of Agriculture and Water Engineering; Logistics Management, Finance and Taxation Business Simulation Training Room of the Department of Economics and Management; Art Training Room, Visual Communication Design Training Room, Environment Design Training Room, Material Structure and Construction Technology Training Room of the Department of Art and Design; Language Experimental Center, Inclusive Digital Media Laboratory, Digital Publishing Laboratory of the Department of Literature and Media; Language Experimental Center and Autonomous Learning Center for College Students of the Department of Foreign languages;Humanistic Geography and Urban and Rural Planning, Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering Laboratory of the Department of Agriculture and Water Conservancy; Food Quality and Safety, Food Science and Engineering Laboratory of the Department of Food and Pharmaceutical Engineering; Special Education Laboratory and Training Room, Vocational Skill Training Center for Normal College Students, and Computer Basic Application Laboratory for Deaf Students of the Department of Education and many others. In the course of inspection and guidance, Tian Jun and his party put forward concrete opinions and suggestions for the laboratories on environmental hygiene, equipment storage, site layout, inspection route of experts, publicity and display, etc.
Tian Jun requests that the departments should analyze deeply and tap actively the potential so that the laboratories can fully show the characteristics and bright spots of our university. During the sprint phase of examination and evaluation, we should further enhance the sense of urgency and responsibility, and make great efforts in detail. It is necessary to enrich the campus cultural life and actively display the achievements of university education and teaching, and strengthen communication, learn from one another to form a joint force and prepare for the war of examination and evaluation.
